Picture card guessing game
1. Review concepts, word class, and vocabulary. You can introduce the word "adjective" to littles, or just use adjectives and describing words interchangeably with older grade levels.
2. Discuss examples in an interactive way. Are your children kinetic learners? You can use objects around the room to enhance their learning and sustain their attention.
3. Sensory stations or scavenger hunt. The most fun of all! Time to practice the new words we just learned. Sensory stations are especially great for seasons and themes, e.g. Halloween, Spring, etc.
4. Picture card guessing game. Let's keep practicing with picture cards! Start off with this set to teach the concept of describing words. After these picture cards, you can continue reinforcing adjective use throughout the year.
